The Compassion for Animals Society is a not-for-profit charity based in South East Queensland dedicated to the protection and conservation of all animals from cats and dogs, to cows and chickens, to koalas and kangaroos. One of our main focuses is supporting individuals working alone in their efforts to rescue animals and improve animal welfare. From time to time we also like to lend our support to our fellow charities, for example supporting wildlife rescue from the recent bushfires. Whereever we see a need we try to lend a hand.
