Coonawarra Back Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 | This wine forms part of our Super Premium range which are all single vineyard, hand-picked and basket pressed reds. Sourced from a 20 acre vineyard south west of the Coonawarra township planted in the early 1980’s. After malolactic fermentation it was transferred to a mix of old and new French oak for 18 months barrel maturation It has dark crimson colour, an aroma of red fruits and currants while the palate is stacked with mouthwatering flavours of berry fruits, black olives and herbs. An elegant Cabernet with lingering tannins. |
